El Pomar Foundation
El Pomar is a foundation for Colorado, and our mission is dictated by the values of Spencer and Julie Penrose.
Spencer Penrose was a Philidelphia entrepreneur who moved to Colorado Springs in 1892. Over the ensuing decades he made his fortune through investments in gold and copper in Cripple, Creek Colorado and Utah. With an eye for excellence and the skill of a promoter Penrose and his wife Julie set to work establishing Colorado Springs, and the entire state as a world class destination.
Moffat County United Way
Moffat County United Way is the leader that unites the community towards positive change by strengthening health, education and financial stability for our residents. United Way mobilizes people, ideas and resources to advance the common good for our community.
Yampa Valley Community Foundation
The Yampa Valley Community Foundation is the primary source for philanthropic resources and education for donors and nonprofit organizations in Northwest Colorado. We promote thoughtful, individualized charitable giving and create endowments that have meaningful impact in the Yampa Valley.
Yampa Valley Gives
Community First Foundation is proud to offer Colorado nonprofits a unique and highly engaging way to increase donations, connect with supporters and spread the word about their mission and work. ColoradoGives.org is our year-round, online giving website featuring the missions, programs and finances of more than 2,300 Colorado nonprofits. Each organization's online profile is screened by Community First Foundation to ensure specific standards of transparency.
